The kindness level in our house has not been at it’s best lately. Thus the much inspired idea of declaring February as “Love Your Family Month” w/ a family home evening to start it off. Rules are simple. Each day pick a name out of the jar, do a kindness or service for that person, even if it is yourself. Leave a paper heart behind. Today, without picking names yet, Josh & Em rushed around doing chores and kind things for each other. Back and forth they went. It got a little out of control. Hearts were everywhere and they became so busy helping each other that they were not doing their morning responsibilities. Can I be mad though? No way. “I’ve created monsters” but I couldn’t be happier.
