Amazing Josh

As long as Josh has been Josh, he has been Amazing. Amazingly cute, amazingly smart, amazingly hungry, amazingly energetic. Amazing! A boy definitely made like his Father. He counts anything, notices everything and loves to understand each little thing.

He knows every book in the Magic Treehouse collection. Not an easy feat considering there are almost 40 books and he has read at least half of them. He knows each title and it's number in the series. Here are some Josh moments:

"Mom did you know that there is 12 seconds between each drum beat on this song?"

"Mom, did you know that (insert any one of a hundred specific Pokemon characters) has this amazing power that can defeat (another character), but not before......." How can he retain this info?

"Mom did you know that all the hymns at church today had 4 verses and the number 2 in their page numbers?"

"Mom, I love you."

"Mom, I don't like this dinner, I love it!"

He's become so much more aware of his surroundings. He's the first one to apologize when he realizes he has done something wrong. He always knows how to cheer up his sister and is so thoughtful of others. Prime example: A few weeks ago a little girl in his class stole his morning snack. Luckily he had packed a spare snack. After school he told me of his mishap which concerned me greatly. We wondered if this girl did not have snacks of her own or if she had not had a good breakfast. The next day we packed snacks again. When snack time came around, Josh did not wait to see if the little girl had a snack or not, he just offered her one of his, and then went off to the nurse's station to take his meds so he could eat his snack. What a kid. I love you Josh!
