Emily isn't missing this tooth. She and her cousin Brooklyn have been wiggling the same loose tooth for ages now. After a few bad tries and a few tears, the tooth finally came out thanks to good old dad. He used the "I'm not going to pull it, I only want to see it" line and it worked. Congrats Girl!

Way to go Em! Now you just need to negotiate a price with the tooth fairy. Id ask for $5 that was a pretty tooth!
You can see why I used the "I'm not going to pull it" line if you look behind Emily in the "after" picture. I was watching Manchester United vs Chelsea and they were in penalty kicks (that's soccer for any of you who aren't up on your international sports). I just wanted to concentrate on the game and not have to worry about Emily dancing in front of the TV saying, "Ow, ow, ow, ow!"
I may be a mean dad but at least I got to watch the rest of my game!
How fun is that? she had such a great smile! My mom used to pull that line on us - and it wasn't until about the 8th tooth that I figured her out - I was such a trusting little thing!
