okay, after the millions of little brown spots and streaks on every piece of cloths. Here is the solution I found online:
Pre-treat with Zout, double amount of Tide, 1/2 cup Borax, 1 scoop of oxi clean, all in the hottest water you can get in a double rinse cycle. IT WORKED!

I know a brown paper bag and an iron will suck wax out of the carpet so maybe it will work on clothes too. You just put the bag over the stain and iron the bag. It really works too.
this happened to a friend of mine and she actually called Martha Stewart about it. She was a caller on the show and Martha answered her question. Too bad I don't remember the answer. Glad that you found a solution!
Ugh, sounds like a nightmare!!! Make sure you check those pockets every time! Glad it all came out.
